Motcombe Memorial Hall sits just north of Shaftesbury, a short drive from Gillingham, Mere and Semley, so children across North Dorset can train without travelling to Salisbury. Sessions run on Friday evenings in term time: juniors at 5.25pm, seniors and advanced students at 6.20pm, and advanced students and black belts at 7.15pm.
It is a small village hall club, so instructors know every child, and students follow the same graded syllabus as our Amesbury HQ, so belts and gradings carry across all our clubs.

Questions from Shaftesbury families
What age can my child start?
From 4. Juniors (4 to 8) train at 5.25pm on Fridays, and seniors (9 to 11) join the 6.20pm session with advanced students.
Is the first class free?
Yes. Book a free Friday taster at Motcombe Memorial Hall and we will match your child to the right session.
What does my child need to wear?
Comfortable clothes for the taster. Members order uniform and kit through our shop and it is delivered to the Friday session.
Is there parking at Motcombe Memorial Hall?
Yes, there is parking at the hall on The Street.
